Claire's SKUs Roll Out to Walgreens

Accessories brand Claire’s is continuing its retail expansion by launching at more than 4,400 Walgreens stores in February and March."As a one-stop destination for everyday needs, Walgreens services millions of people every day,” Ryan Vero, Claire’s chief executive officer, said in a statement. “Together we will extend Claire's trend-driven shopping experience to new and existing customers, giving Walgreens shoppers more to love, fostering deeper connections and inspiring self-expression.”Dedicated Claire’s in-line displays in the seasonal section stock an assortment of the brand’s bestselling jewelry, hair accessories, keychains and press-on nails with an emphasis on seasonal items — launching with Easter-themed products."Walgreens is proud to offer a wide assortment of must-haves for its customers,” Dale Johnson, Walgreens group vice president and general merchandise manager, said in a statement. “Whether they're wanting to purchase a thoughtful and unique gift, or treat themselves, adding Claire's fashion accessories ensures customers have access to a wider variety of options. Walgreens delights in providing products that empower shoppers to be themselves, and we're excited to add more brands to fit our shoppers' needs all in one place."A shopping mall staple with 2,300 stores worldwide, Claire’s began entering other channels in 2018 by partnering with Walmart. Claire’s expanded that deal in 2022 to reach more than 2,500 Walmart stores and the same year also launched a partnership with Macy’s that is now running in 125 stores. In early 2023, Claire's expanded its presence at a slew of grocery retailers, including Albertsons Cos., Giant Eagle, Kroger and Schnucks, before rolling out at more than 700 Kohl’s locations ahead of the holiday season.
